This morning Pat Buchanan announced His bid for the Presidency via the Reform Party. in a rousing speech interrupted by technical difficulties Pat railed against the new world order and it's attack on U.S. sovergnity.Pat promised a return of US military and declared that he would only commit troops to a direct threat to the USA. He declared he would nip the Godless New World order in the bud. he promised he would end the trade imbalance by slapping tariff's on those countries who dump goods in the USA. He promised appointing strict constitutionists to the supreme court. He promised to limit immigration so we could assimulate the 30 million new immigrants we have absorbed in the last 25 years. Pat declared english would be our offical language. he promised that he would limit federal interference in education and direct ed-monies to States and localities. He promised to severly reduce taxes and tax those international corporations who do business and escape taxes. he stated that he would end coporate lobbying and vote buying. He declared that both parties had failed the working people and sold out to internationalism . Pat has given voice to the fears of Americans who have watched our industrial might flood overseas. He has voiced the frustrations of millions with the distruction of America's industrial base by those bearing no allegience to our people. Pats speech to the heartland and his mission to reform will throw a monkey wrench into internationalist plans to absorbe and distroy American sovergnity. Reform is in the wind,Pat has touched a deep cord and may well capture the white house. I'm sure the internationalists are S**ting bricks this morning.GO PAT GO! I am planning to quit the Bilderburgers and the CFR and throw in all my support behind Buchanan!

Pat is a clown. He loves to rumble and knows if he stays in the Republican party he will ALWAYS lose in the end. He is already a non performer because of "George Dubayou".

Being a independant he can rant all he wants and will be a likely contender if we have a Y2k election because he will likely be the independant choice. He is still not going to win the presidency but he can get to shoot his mouth off during the campaign and possibly during debates at the end.

If I remember correctly, in the 1990 elections Ross Perot got about 20% of the popular vote. However, he was beaten by Bill Clinton who received about 41% of the popular vote. At the beginning of 1990, George Bush was unbeatable, and Dem candidates dropped out of the race early- why bother? No one had heard of Bill Clinton at the beginning of 1990. He didn't have a chance. By the next year he was pres.

I also recall that Pat Buchanan won the New Hampshire Republican primary, blowing out Bob Dole. Buchanan's been around awhile, he is more well known. The two big political parties will get real ugly, and not finding any real dirt on Buchanan, will resort to intense smears. I expect the media will always use words like 'racst,' 'anti- semitc,' 'Hitlr-lover,' etc., in the same sentence as the words 'Pat Buchanan.'

He may surprise you.

A Y2K that's an 8 or less might be a benefit for Reform Party Pat. He could use a campaign slogan of "Y2K: The professional politicians didn't want you to know." and would it be a natural draw for a "none of the above" vote by folks who get burned by a mostly economic Y2K.

hamster ... ( a small animal of the rodent family, I believe ) You should have paid more attention in civics class in 7th grade ... before you dropped out of school. Use the exercise wheel in your cage instead of trying to post 'wise' retorts. Second poster ... He will show up a lot of the politicians for what they are and what they " don't " stand for; the people and common sense ! Hope there IS a country to HAVE an election next November . Eagle

I for one am leaning towards a third party candidate. I figure we now have cat sh*t and dog shi*t, maybe Pat will cut through all the bullsh*t and make this country great again.

The common wisdom says that Buchanan will take votes away from the Republican candidate, perhaps enough to help elect the Democrat.

I disagree. I believe that most of Buchanan's votes will come from Reagan Democrats who would never vote for George W. Bush.

Pat has my vote.

He's the only American on the ballot. The rest are globalist puppets. What choice do we have?

He has no more chance than Lucky Lindbergh did in the late thirties, or his dad (C.E. Lindbergh) did before WWI. Hell, they ARRESTED Congressman Lindbergh (the aviator's father) on a campaign stop while he was campaigning for Governor in...Minnesota, charged him with "fomenting treason." Read your history, people--this little game has been going on long before you or I were even born. It's child's play for the globalists to smear Buchanan as an anti-semite and leave him by the side of the road. Watch and see.
