When I was very young, I read and reread poky the little puppy and katie the snow plow. I used to sleep with those books, like some kids did with stuffed animals, for comfort.

When I was a little older I read every book the local library had on historical figures, such as Washington and Lincoln. Unfortunately, I have a horrible memory, and remember nothing from those books. I've studied a lot of history, but remember none of it. its depressing.
