For those of you who don't read the whole thread....Thanks!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

The test results came back negative, and I posted that as soon as I could. However, there are still well wishers who are responding to the original message. This new thread is to put your minds at ease. (I'm sure we all have enough stress right now.)

Thank you all very much for your thoughts, advice and well wishes. I'll be happy to repeat this here, I knew I could count on the people in this forum, and I wasn't at all disappointed. I was even a little suprised. I saved that thread and printed it out. If I ever find myself in one of my many "People are idiots. This country is doomed." moods, I'm pulling that thread out and reading it again to dispell it.

Thanks again, and keep your...

I bet everything tastes and smells better, looks different, feels different! You'll never forget this; it'll change you for the better, really it will. Great good news--all best wishes to you and yours. (But still file and label!)

yippy, yippy, yippy.

I was lurking on Bokonon's chat room yesterday, and someone (forget who) appeared w/ a bulletin, something like, "one of our group has just posted that he's very ill--oh no". Puts one in mind of the reported effect effect of a butterfly's wings on global weather...

Now if we can just all avoid getting nuked.

Great news!!! Thanks for the update!

Eyes: Great News!!! Other than being shot at and missed, there's nothing like getting a tax refund or a GOOD pathology report!!! (I've been there, done that!) By the way,(I've probably missed the info in the past).....but what is "watch six" all about????

-- jeanne (jeanne@hurry.now), October 28, 1999.

Jeanne- Watch Six is an airman's term for pay attention to the ONE part of the sky you can't see readily, the "Six O'Clock" position. (Twelve is dead in front of you, 3 is on your right, 9 is on your left and 6 is dead behind you).

Completely different from Catfish Hunter (or whoever) who used to say "DOn't look back somethin might be gaining on you".

(And now someone will correct me on that reference as I KNOW I got the person wrong)
