I am looking for information on the Lewis Honeycutt family found in the 1850 census. Lewis was married to Mary and had 7 kids living at home at the time of the census. I am mainly interested in one son, James A. Honeycutt, age 4 at the time. I am tracking down possible leads and he looks like a good candidate for my gg grandfather, who married Julia Crayton. James, Julia, and their family, were located in Cabarrus County during the 1880 census before settling in Mecklenburg by the time of the 1900 census. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
