Friends,

Sending posts to a forum is a little like talking to the sky. There isnt much of a response; you dont how you were received. So, I would like to take a moment to express my appreciation to everyone who has taken the time to post to this forum, especially recently. The information is interesting and helpful, and helps me to feel a bit more connected.

Also, thanks to everyone who has worked to prepare and help others to do the same. It was a pleasure getting to know many of you. And, to those that I have not have met, it was nice to have you around.

A lot of us made heartfelt effort to serve our neighbors, only to come way bewildered by the lack of response. A year from now we will be deeply into the truth of Y2K. We will know who guessed right and maybe, who told the truth. No matter how it turns out, we have demonstrated the truth of our character. To quote a line from the movie, Total Recall, You are what you do.
