Need to find an instruction book for my National Pressure Cooker mod# 7.

I had the same problem, sort of 'inherited' a very nice pressure cooker with no instructions. I went forth into battle at the many local thrift stores and found pressure cooker instructions and recipe books. Success!

yuo are in luck, just 2 months ago my DH bought me a National #7 $10. Please go to www.presto.com [1-800-877-0441] explaine what it looks like [there are 2 kinds of #7]. I got the instruction book for $2 and a set of sealing rings for $7. I consider that a bargine at any price. I'm still chichen to use it but I still have pears to can so I might try it then. I'v made over a 100 pints of jelly. Guess what everybody is getting for christmas.

Just a follow up. Hope this may help some one, if you find a #7 that has the safety fuse in the center of the lid you can get parts. If the safety fuse is behind the pressure relief near the edge of the lid there are NO parts to be had.
