In the page 11 of the manual of Kodak DC280 it is written: "If the green ready light blinks, then the auto focus is not focused on the subject".

I have been testing my new DC280 for a few days and have noticed that the green ready light NEVER blinks. Even when I point to a subject which is less than 1 inch close. It only blinks in the dark.

Does anybody has a dc280 with this same "feature"?
