What is focus system of the kodak dc280? Contrast? Infrared?

Answers

I have the dc-240 -- it is the same basic camera except for the size of the ccd sensor matrix (which necessitates a smaller zoom on the 280) and it doesn't focus well without ambient light.

So I'd guess it uses a contrast technique off the image hitting the ccd sensor.
