Corona Mass Ejection (CME) Likely to Strike Earth November 15

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Check this link. It tells of the current solar storm activity, and a posting tells of a CME that may impact the earth on the 15th. Also note the opening page graph...which is up VERY sharply today.

Are you prepared?

I don't follow the CME's though I had at one time. If my Y2K preps can't see me through any troubles then I don't know "what." It's just going to be constant as the storm advances. The page did say that one is an "M" class and diffusing. See what I mean in a way? Why I don't follow them? M class or X class? Diffusing or not diffusing? It can make oneself nuts. Then of course comes the stress in waiting for the "date" of impact. Silly and trivial annoying ham radios or a kill shot?

X class is x-ray...

I'm prepared. And besides, it's already happening--my Corona grain mill has been ejecting masses of flour, and, because the bowl wasn't in the right place to catch all the flour, down to the earth it went. :-)

Great. Just great.

Does anyone feel the effects of CMEs?

It caused my whites to get dingy in the wash.

that is opening day of rifle season, inconvenient day for cosmic troubles

in my thoroughly uninformed opinion, I expect this ejection will be as un-noticed in normal people's lives as any other

You can't run, and there's no place to hide. Don't worry about it.

But come to think of it, there's the old Molly Kathleen mine in Cripple Creek, Colorado. If it's still set up for visitors, 5,000 ft. down would be safe enough. Wonder how many people the drifts would hold?

Porky- ROFLMAO!!!

-- Gia (laureltree7@hotmail.com), November 13, 1999.

Time for a trip to Howe Caverns.

-- Dave (aaa@aaa.com), November 13, 1999.

LOL Porky!

There are just some things ya have to leave up to "the cosmic luck-of- the-draw."

We'll see. Or not.

Diane

BTW... Imagine a massive solar flare shield between earth and the sun... for starters. Ya never know "what works" when working with the multi-dimensional energetic levels. And "ask" for help! (This advice may collect of few "flares" too).

;-D

Thanks for reminding me... I gotta get me some Coronas -- several sixpacks.

And some limes.

Dave, ever been to Howe Caverns on Halloween? Are they still open?

-- Arewyn (isitthatlate@lready.com), November 13, 1999.

Remote viewer Ed Dames was on the Art Bell program Thur. He predicts that the solar damage will be much worse than y2k.

-- Dave (dannco@hotmail.com), November 13, 1999.

Dave,

What did Ed Dames say?

October 14th broadband was approved for the (deadly evil mind numbing) 60 cycle electric lines. The future only exists n the crysallis of the NOW. I can see this as a reason for such an event.
