Hy Eyell,I ordered some stuff from them about 6 months ago. I had no problems (and it arrived within a week, as I recall).

THEY SUCK!!! When placing an order for frs radios last week, the operator taking my order asked me if I was "one of these y2k freaks" and started laughing on the phone.Stay away.. spend your money with a company that doesn't attempt to ridicule you.

I've had EXCELLENT luck with Heartland America!! I've ordered several "solar/windup 11-band radios" at $79 - I challenge you to beat that price ANYWHERE. My best buy there, however, was an 800-watt Coleman generator - puts out 110vAC AND 14vDC for charging batteries - for $300!!! If you join their 1-yr club for $30, they pay for postage on EVERY ORDER FOR THE NEXT 12 MONTHS. I more than pays for itself after even just ONE order. I also challenge you to beat the Coleman generator price. I'm one happy camper with this vendor.I wouldn't let one bad experience with one stupid phone operator keep you from using a very, very useful source of preps.

I confirm Bill Talino's take --- I've dealt with them for quite a few years -- never a bad experience, polite, good service. Richard, you must have gotten hold of the wife of one of our resident Polly Trolls!
