I just asked a Customs Officer last night, real casually,"So tell me, are the docks ready for this Y2K thing?" Answer:"yep,they're ready" Then I asked "How 'bout you lot(Bda slang for y'all)down Customs?" Reply: "Yeah man, we just got a new computer system put in last week" "Last week? I asked ! Reply: "Nothin' to worry 'bout, they got all the Marine Police on duty that night, just in case" "Oh,I said, I feel better now", got on my moped, drove home,had a Scotch & water whilst there is still ice.
