I am working on my doctorate in Administrative Leadership and am going to focus on the licensure/certification programs of K-12 administers. I am looking at this as my focus:

"Does the system of portfolio evaluation actually result in validation of the competencies in an administrators?

So here goes some of my question to you:

1) Your thoughts on my proposed question ... it is not cut in stone with my committee as we are still in the process of setting up our committees for our dissertations?

2) Where to look for sources and references for the review of the literature?

3) How many questions should there be in a survey as I canvas past and present participants in the program? I have about 20+ right now. Also need examples of surveys that would be good models to follow.

4) Other thoughts, suggests that I should key on and start thinking about? We are slated to graduate in the spring of 2001 so I have about a year and a half to go.
