I would like to know the street addresses of the ACL and SAL stations in Sarasota, Florida. According to the Official Guide they were 9-10 miles apart.

According to 'Railroads of Southwest Florida', the ACL depot was at Main Street and School Avenue. The last time I saw it , there was a steak house located in it. It was demolished in 1986.

Bob, you've misread the Official Guide! The stations in Sarasota were 9/10th of a mile apart, i.e. less than a mile. So far I haven't found any address for the ACL depot, but will look somemore. Tom

The SAL station was at Main and Lemon,downtown.So far I can't find the address for the ACL,but do know it was east of US301.I don't think they were miles apart.
