Made, that link went to Gary North's page about Texas army ops.

Where can we read about Eugene?

Ashton & Leska,

I know that is where that link takes you. It was purposeful.

I don't have a link yet for the news story locally, but a good portal for local general info of the area is>http://www.eugene.com/resource_center.html

I'm glad Billy Boy still posts here though he won't respond to me any more. How can someone learn if there is no one willing to teach. He may think people who haven't learned should be written off out of frustration (mil life is whole `nuther world), but learning takes time and people need teachers-he said in another post "go look at the copters at" this site, so that's what I'll do.

A&L, what my friend said, I will e-mail that if I change my mind and not post it. Hope your well, and thanks!

Please do post the propper link or send me the story. I live in Eugene, so it would be nice to know what's going on in my own back yard!

Thanks, maid. We hope Billy Boy and the other .mil folks have patience too. It's obvious their world is another planet to those not exposed. We're newbies in so many areas. As far as rehearse.ing, the ruckus in Seattle today is sure to make LEOs in the PacNW nervous. We pray our little neighborhood stays vewry vewwry docile.

maid, post whatever you can when you feel it's OK. Timing is everything. Yikes! 31 days to go ...

Hmmmn.

Considering the riots and all the looting that's happening just up the street at the WTO conference, it would appear more useful to actually declare martial law up there, and see what happens "for real" ---

After all, why waste a perfectly good riot?

I just got in from out of town. What's going on at WTO?

More, check out Drudge Report now:

Maid, A&L, No beef w/ any of y'all. Just got a bit of a case of the 'paranoid asocials' going on right now. And yes, you are correct. It is a totally different planet we .mils are on. Don't forget, military personnel have no constitutional rights in any way, shape or form. We got a draconian law system originally based on British military law called the UCMJ (uniform Code of Military ((Ha!)) Justice) No rights, guilty until proven innocent but even then your career is shot, ect.)

Interesting thing in the Oregon thing is how it kind of corresponds with the deployment of the Seattle/Washington State Nat'l Guard. Probably trying to attempt a cross state training. (leastways thats the way I'd train) Something tells me that the Seattle thing is going to be an interesting precursor...I'll keep the ear to my sources.

Billy-Boy,

Great to hear from you! I checked out the copter sites, but it's been to long and I am not sure regarding the formations flying low level near Camp George West detention facility (see post: "Bunker" Golden Colorado-getting ready to drop off the board). Just a guess and closest I can come to is a UH1, Bell I think. An incredible amount of copter activity all going on right over top of a suburban area at the edge of Denver, adjacent to Jefferson County govt. offices & jail, the detention center there, and just down the street another Guard armory with a prisoner camp next door (it's an old post and run down).

I took a drive up to the butte mentioned in that other post just to do some sightseeing (really, a good view of the Denver skyline looking east). Before I could get my foot out the door, some kind of Fed cop pulled up behind me and wanted to know what I was doing there. No warnings posted or gates, I thought it was public road. The bluff/butte is near a Fed Energy (can't remember name) agency building. From that butte, you can see that array of big white bubble shaped radar(?) out past Lowry air force base near Buckley NG base. Just to the north of that the HUGE new airport DIA. Due north a new NG armory near Fort Collins adjacent to I-25, and you know the south has all that stuff down there-Cheyenne Mountain, Ft. Carson, et al..

I know armed services are being `wasted', but at the same time PowersToBe are adding police by the thousands. Things I was told by my service friend (only trustworthy man I know anywhere).... make your hair stand on end.

Re: your "guilty till proven innocent" in the mil. I watched what they did to Micheal New (>www.mikenew.com< if it's still there). Now though Billy, it's happening to the civillians too. The only reason that people think they still have rights is because they have not tried to, or needed to try to exersize them. [Editors opinion;-)]

So good to hear from you. Careful!
