This is to confirm that I will participate in the interview of Mr CEO Wednesday Dec 1 at 2PM eastern time. Neither of us will be in studio however. None of the show's personnel are aware of his identity. I do know Mr CEO personally, however and can vouch for his identity as well his credentials. Victor Porlier, another long-time Westergaard columnist has also vouched for Mr CEO's authenticity.

I am responsible for arranging his appearance on the program under the condition that his identify and that of his company be protected. I can also reveal that I am "Friend #1" referred to in Will Reishman's earlier email which ended up posted on Gary North's site.

Mr. CEO is a courageous individual who is taking a significant risk by making a live appearance. He is doing so out of his deep concern for others.

James,

Last I heard the interview is cancelled. Mr. CEO changed his mind and decided not to make any public statements. There was a posting about this on the TB2000 forum, from Jim Lord himself, stating the change of heart of Mr. CEO. So, unless he changed his mind back again, the show is off.

Jim Lord's posting on the TB2000 forum announcing the cancellation of Mr. CEO's interview was made on November 26th. However, the above confirmation of the interview scheduled for tomorrow, was posted on Gary North's site today. It appears (I could be wrong, here!) as if Mr. CEO (or whoever he is) cancelled and then rescheduled on the terms that his identity was protected.

Can anyone record this on a real-audio or some other similar format and post it on this website? I won't be able to listen at 11:00 tomorrow (dental appointment).

Thanks, Victoria

Jim Lord clarified the confusion today on the TB2000 forum - Mr. CEO has indeed cancelled.

To clarify once more. Mr. CEO has changed his mind and WILL NOT make any public appearaqnces. I do not think Mr. North is confused about this issue. He probably simply linked to the earlier announcement before realizing that a retraction had been made.

This is a simple issue. Mr CEO said he would appear then changed his mind. I announced both his decisions as soon as I was aware of them.

I apologize for any confusion but it was unavoidable.

Did anyone listen to Jim Lord today? Would you please give a synopsis here?

Thanks

Ok, CEO canceled out but Jim Lord spent two full days with him and he personally vouches for this man. He says that very little could be accomplished by him showing up. The die is cast and nobody at this late date will believe an anonymous person. He wouldn't gain that much but could hurt a lot of people depending on him. Jim Lord say his predictions are judgement calls based on his considerable experience. As far as I'm concerned, If Jim Lord backs this guy I say we should be able to take that to the bank. What say you all ??

Chuck,

I'm with you, and back Jim Lord and his comments, on Mr. CEO. Remember, Victor Porlier also validated this CEO, even before Jim came out with it. And Victor is as high on the integrity list as you can get. So, there are some bad things going on that are either misrepresented, misunderstood, or covered up by a lot of companies. We all know that has been going on. If it wasn't for all the smoke and mirrors we wouldn't have such a hard time accepting information such as was presented by Mr. CEO. And I don't blame him for backing out. The situation is what it is, period. If Mr. CEO found that he was going to hurt a lot of people he cared about, then why do it? It's too late for any meaningful work to be done anyway. You might say he would be warning people, but that isn't so. At this point the official powers-that-be will crucify anyone who gets in the way of their own version of Y2k reality.
