I want to invite everyone interested in photography to post messages on my photography discussion board. I would like to see a serious discussion of photography techniques, tips, etc. Please visit my website, take a look at my photographs in my gallery and post messages about photography. I will be happy to reply to all of your questions and give my input. I need some people to help me get this discussion board going, so please post tips, techniques and questions related to photography. I specialize in scenic and nature photography, but I am not limited to that area.greenspun.com : LUSENET : Nature Photography Image Critique : One Thread |

All 3 of your URL's are blocked by the firewall at office. I wonder if there is any good reason why these URL's should be blocked? I can't view your photos, or contribute to your discussion...

I thought this was a photo critique forum...not a place to advertise your site. (you're not the only one Rick...so please don't think I'm picking on you)I don't mind if you post an image and say "if you want to, check out my page at www.myurl.com; there are more images there", but just posting a site annoys me.
just my $.02

I have to agree with the general consensus. This is not an appropriate way to advertise your new site. Can I suggest an alternative? Try posting some of your photographs into this discussion group, with a link to your forum in the Description field...That might get a more positive response.
As it stands, I will not go to look at your website, purely on principle.
