Southern seed swap

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I homestead in the Georgia Piedmont. I had a good tobacco this year and have lots of extra seed. It is not the commercial stuff, N.Tabacum. It is a smaller older type Nicotiana Rustica. It is easy to grow and dose not take alot of space, plants are under 2ft. high.Want to trade seed for other usefull southern seeds.

Is this a smokable tobacco? What kind of seeds are you looking for? I've got dwarf okra, broomcorn, beans (like a pinto, but I forget what kind at the moment) and maybe some others.

If it's the smokeable type then I would like to buy some seeds since I don't have anything to trade with..also would like to buy some moon and stars watermelon seeds and delicious corn that has unique colors...most indian corn can't be eaten (apparently)

Email me if you have what I'm looking for.

Ted
