South Africa gets a less than favourable mention in this review. You might like to look at the South African Support Centre site at www.y2k.org.za. A quote from the October 1999 readiness report on that site: 'The Global 2000 Group has given South Africa its "green band" rating, indicating that it should be all systems go for the new millennium, says the country's Y2K Centre risk analysis consultant Peter Ewart-Brookes.

This rating places South Africa up with countries globally making the biggest efforts to eradicate the Millennium Bug from their computer systems.'
