greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

The Brit Gov has spent more than #12m to ensure its top-secret GCHQ spy-centre computer systems are compliant...... IT took more than 150 man years of work....MI5 and MI6 and GCHQ have been working since 1996....MI6 already has more than 86% of its systems compliant, GCHQ and MI5 only 70% compliant, but they hope to be 100% by 31 Dec (what else) Gov minister Lord Mcintosh has assured peers that UK nukes will be safe over the millennium period
