I'm new to the game...I have a Sony VX-1000, with the sony Digital Editer. I have been doing some great stuff. However I want to start to edit on my computer. I have a DELL COMPUTER...Should I buy a new G-4(mac)? Or use my new Dell with the right software? If I use the Dell I think I need a FireWire card, capture card, and a motion card...but I'm not sure.

ted, depends on what you want to do. if you have the cash i would get a G4 450 and final cut pro. for less cash i would go with an imac dv special edition. go to 2-pop.com's message boards for some great advice.
