I do RPG on AS/400s for a rural county. Our software provider for the 911 enhanced system informed us today that we must shut the system down for 20 minutes over the rollover. Any other county folk out there have similar stories?

These shutdowns for your county 911, Amtrak etc. do you think that these systems haven't been tested or have had limited testing as of yet?

RPGman, I work for a small police dept in Calif. No one has mentioned anything yet about shutting down or even reinitializing our 911 system. It's enhanced and ,yes, runs on as AS/400 system. Of course the fact that I haven't been told yet doesn't mean that it's not planned. Just call me Mushroom.
