Know where I can get a Plava II Cream Separator other than at Lehman's

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I just can't believe that Lehman's carries the only Plava II cream separator in the world. I found a guy at simple-living.net that had some but was sold out as of 12/99. Can anyone out there help me? I just want a hand crank cream separator (that does not cost 2 arms and 1 leg!) - I would even buy a used one if anyone out there had one. Thanks for anyone's help. - Susan

Here's a link I saw I don't know if it's a good company or not but it's half the price of Lehmans.

Hi Susan, I have a good friend that purchased her PlavaII from simple- living.net and is very pleased with it. Yes, they have a wonderful price on it!! Sorry to hear that they are out of stock. They are a reputable company, committed Christian people, and I can certainly recommend buying from them if they get more of them in. Did they give you a possible date for re-stocking them? You are right about Lehmans price-- I asked simple-living how they could sell them so much cheaper than Lehman's, and they said they simply don't mark them up as much. Also, you might check www.ebay.com Do a search for cream separator. A lot of the items that come up will be collectible type stuff, but they also have functional separators on there. The other day I saw a Westfalia table-top electric model, in excellent condition, and it went for about $180. Other than that, I know of no other source for the PlavaII. Sorry, hope this is helpful.

Hi Susan: I have the one that Hoegger and Caprine supply sells. I am also no longer needing it and would be interested in selling it if you are interested. You may Email me directly if you are.
