What percent of you is happy...what percent is sad?

If you're like me, you are not one thing or the other. You're a mixture. What percent of you is happy...and what part is sad?--Al

My emotions vary greatly. But I'm never completely happy. Part of me is always in a stage of sadness. Today, I probably hit 99% happiness. A great accomplishment. In the past week, I've hit record highs and lows. Lows enough to cause me to break down, highs enough to make me laugh in glee. My new year's resolution is to be a happier, more confident person. Go me.

Today I'd say I ran a pretty constant 100% happy. There weren't any SAD moments, a few seconds of frustration, a minute ot two of confusion, that sort of thing, but nothing that really took away from the overall happiness. I pretty much stay happy most of the time. I have to. I guess the happy "class clown" is just my lot in life.:-) I mean, SOMEBODY's got to try and lighten the spirits at work, lest we all go insane.

Why is it that so much of a person's happiness should be based on one, ultimately evil thing? Money. My fiance` and I are young and struggling... Having not gotten far enough in school to move into our fields and then taking a year off has left us working in retail and struggling to pay our bills.. Then, Morgan got laid off from his job, not three weeks before christmas. If I'm able to pay all my bills at all it will be because I've gotten cash advances from our credit cards.. And yet, I'm overly thankful that we are healthy and, for the most part happy. I love my fiance', have a wonderful family, and, for someone my age, have a beautiful home.. So, I'd have to say that my happiness varies.. when I forget to think about all of my bills and my lack of money I am 100% happy.. Unfortunately, I think about my money problems 90% of the time.. therefore I am only happy.. what? 10% of the time? Forgive me, the math part of my brain doesn't work so well.. Money truly is the root of all evil. Money and math.. I'm not fond of either. :)

happiness for me is a catch as catch can sort of deal. now days i don't think i go lower than 50 % an the top is 95 to 99 %. too many variables in life ken summit....can't seem to level out at 80 to 85 % range. at 50% i usually find some way to get silly, laugh at myself or have a coffee break.

65% happy . . . 10% sad . . . 5% unknown and 20% bitch.

Well, I normally run at about 75% happy, but I have had a recent 10% increase in happiness. Let's see, according to Al's journal, that would mean I am 750% happy! :-)

kelly-bob is a great brain, with a good mind on the train, he adds 'em up, and pours in a pitcher, a philosophy richer, than 750 %, in the main.

today i'm 1000 % happier than yesterday, when i only registered 500 %

All right I am pretty math challenged myself... so I will play this safe... I am 50% happy having a great job. I am 25% sad with the kids leaving for Christmas this year...and I am 25% indifferent... that is an emotional state due to indifference. I think that makes me 100% a memeber of the human race, but I may be wrong
