Sorry, I mispelled it. The correct spelling is Virga, which is rain that evaporates before it ever reaches the ground. A very common occurance in the southwest.

I can't see much to critique about this photo. I also don't find it very interesting. I have taken many cloud photos and find that Virga look much better when backlit by the sun, since they scatter light. See this example: http://gordonr.simplenet.com/9591/11_cirrus_virgac.jpg

I think this is a strong photo graphic composition. In terms of improvement a stronger i.e more interesting silhouette would help.
