Hedy, I once has the site bookmarked, I went and checked, I must have deleted it. Please try Duncan, http://www.cyberfind.com/dk/. This man is good. I don't know if he is gub-mit or not, but he sure has been helpful, even to personal phone calls, trying to iron out my meager attempt at Solar panel and Deep Cell Battery education. Best of luck to you!

a bicycle generator will wear you out and burn up more calories than you can eat. Why not build a wind generator instead?

I believe episode #21 of Gilligan's Island will provide some useful insight on building a bicycle generator. A good supply of coconuts will really help too.

I remember a movie from the early 70's called "Soylent Green" where they powered a living area with a bicycle generator. Starred Charleton Heston and Edward G. Robinson in his last movie. It was set in NY in the early part of the upcoming century and dealt with overpulation and the inability of power sources to keep up with the number of users. Might be light viewing in the next few days, if you can find it.

Soylent Green "light viewing"? yuck-I don't wanna give it away, but if you have ever listened to Chuck Youngbrandt's online interview w/the Prophesy Club, then here is the movie.
