YUP,

And the stock markets continue skyward. Go figure!

Wow, sorry for taking up four lines on the main list! This lone thread could have pushed up to four threads over into the abyss.

I guess I'll have to live with the guilt...

nothere nothere,

Thank you so much for your help.

Happy to oblige eve.

As for hoarding cash and gold, I knew I wasn't the only one. Yes, I'll take a tax hit, but the market will help me pay for them very shortly.

Those who are prepping on a budget, especially with a DGI spouse, have my PROFOUND respect.

Good luck and best wishes to you all.

nothere nothere,

Somehow, when I GI, I never had any inclination to go to cash and/or gold. I just jumped from stocks to beans and rice. I guess it's because I envision a strong possibility for an 8-10 scenario, where I don't see a clear role for monetary exchange. But I know you have your reasons.

By the way, I remember you from ladylogic's monster-thread. In the middle of it, you had a post that just said, "Oy!" Being Jewish, I knew that, boiled down, that just about said it all, and I broke up when I saw it. Thanks for the laugh.
