Some friends told me about how other friends helped a couple move. When moving a woodpile they came upon many dead petrified rats. At Christmas time the newly moved couple received the rats-dressed up in a nativity scene. At Easter couple #1 got them back-dressed appropriately. Back and forth each holiday they went until nothing was left!

My kind of folks. I once gave a petrified rat to an artist friend who was photographing dead animals for a series, you'd think I had given her the hope diamond.

I once did a nativity scene as a solstice surprise for the neighbours using a couple of pink flamingos with a plastic egg in the manger.
