On the subject of colloidal silver, there seem to be those who KNOW what this is all about, and the rest of the population that doesn't have a clue. A guy in a natural remedies store had never heard of it. I've looked at a web site but it assumes that you're already clued in. I'm not. Help? Thanks.

The theory is that silver interferes with a critical enzyme reaction that is common to all aneorobic bacteria. It also appears to kill fungus, but I don't know the mechanism.
