Airport Glitch Causes Delays

Updated 3:06 PM ET December 27, 1999

(INDIANAPOLIS) -- A computer glitch at Indianapolis International Airport's Control Center may have caused a few flight delays for holiday travelers. A Federal Aviation Administration spokesman told the "Indianapolis Star" that radar wasn't completely down yesterday morning, but there were electrical problems in Indianapolis and at three other large airports in the Midwest. Kansas City, Memphis, and Cleveland also experienced power problems yesterday. Problems at all four locations were repaired by six p-m.

Howdy Homer..........

Y2K summed up in two phrases you used........

1. Problems (at four locations).......

2. Were repaired (by six p-m.)...........

You see, that is what we do with problems, we repair them........as opposed to some who scream and holler instead whilst diving into their buried schoolbuses...........
