i bought a maine coon kitten a year ago and lost the paper the breeder gave me to mail and to get him registered but i have everything else she sent ---what can i do?????

You need to get back to the breeder and ask for help. If the breeder registered the whole litter when it was born (which any good breeder would always do), another copy of the individual registration for the cat can now be obtained. One question is, why do you wish to register your cat now? Are you thinking of breeding him? If so, the breeder should certainly be advised. You may not have "breeding rights" for the cat. Basically, you need to talk with the breeder and sort it out. Sure they won't kill you for losing the papers!!
