Just lost temperature control (hvac) in main plant office. Will be leaving building. Probably a normal glitch. Temperature at 92 and rising. No danger to public. report back later

A few hours back I posted a quick note concerning a HVAC failure. I apologize for the manner in which I posted this message. I assure you I am not a troll. I work for a major east coast food company (sorry that's all I can tell you). Around 1:30 (13:30) this afternoon the main Research office experienced a HVAC failure, this affects only a limited portion of the plant. I reported this in a hurry because we had to leave the office due to excessive heat (+92 and rising fast when I left). At this point the SAR team has still not determined the nature of the failure. Hopefully tomorrow when I return I can get some info. I do know that certain areas of the plant were doing testing (that's the reason for the hurried post before). Thanks for listening

Ps - While the name I use may seem sort of derogatory, I picked it one day after reading some humorous posts on the forum. I am a member of a global Y2K remediation team and take this very seriously. I also post under 2 other serious names on this forum.

Who Gives,

Thanks for sharing your info. It is quite understandable that you were in a stressful situation, but stopped long enough to let us know.

Are you sure that you 1) are NOT on interruptable electric service and 2) the clock has NOT drifted some 76 hours ahead???

We are expecting most HVAC Systems to crash to an unrepairable condition in just 76-73 hours from now.
