(AP) Associated Press - Millenium celebrations were thrown into chaos today in Times Square when a giant ape suddenly appeared and proceeded to eat innocent bystanders. It is not known at this time how a 50 foot tall ape managed to sneak by 8,000 police officers and 5 police helicopters stationed in the famous square but authorities were quick to point out that the ape is NOT a Y2K glitch and that people should not top off their gas tanks or buy generators.
