Few months back a little girls parents ended up killing eachother while the little girl was there watching. After the little girl was rescued her new foster parents took her to Sunday school and her new Sunday school teacher held up a picture of Jesus. The teacher asked the children in the class who that was. The little girl who had lost her parents said "that was the man who was holding me the night my parents died.

woah. thanks. i needed the encouragement. i thought i misheard his voice this year in prepping. now, i am reminded of his love and caring and willing to be patient and try to understand the whys?

reminds me of the birdies story that is so incredible. about the three year old who was almost killed when the garage door came down on his chest and he later shared the story with his parents about the 'birdies' that comforted him (angels). i also was told by one of my co-workers who was hit by a train when he was 15 (and wound up looking at the underside of the train as it passed over him miraculously with only two broken legs), he said there was this presence that stayed with him and comforted him (he is not a christian) while his friends went for emergency help. he also said a dog came and sat by him also and kept him company. otherwise, he wasn't sure he wouldn't have gone crazy.

when this comes from young people (and they can reiterate the story correctly repeatedly) you realize there is someone who loves us.

i don't know why so many of us feel a bit lost this weekend. we thought we were doing the right thing in prepping. yet i am thrilled, there was no massive immediate meltdowns--the lord reminded me that was exactly what most of us were praying for.

I, too, think we were "supposed" to prep and do the things we did. I don't know why, but do we need to know, really? It might become apparent, but even if it doesn't, it is good to do what you feel you ought rather than fall asleep when the call to action comes.

Reminds me of how great and awesome and merciful and powerful our God is.....

Col. 1:12-23

did you hear this morning about the 26 yr old woman in a coma who was pregnant with twins and her family told the docs to turn off life support? well they did, and lo and behold as soon as they pulled the plug the woman began talking....she is now recovering after giving birth to 2 healthy twin girls!! Even the skeptical Dr. had to admit on TV that it could only be explained as "miraculous".....amen?

Someday you will ALL be believers...either in this life or when you pass into eternity and the Great White Throne judgement...

Yes, the Lord Jesus is coming back someday and He will be full of vengeance....at least that's what He says in His book...the Bible. IIThess. ch 1

Did you hear the one about the rabbi, the minister, and the priest who walk into this bar ...

I did what I felt I needed to do. It was my decison. I am not sorry and would do it again. I am glad nothing happened but I would have been especially grateful that I had prepared if some thing did happen. We can't have it both ways.

Thanks, Dan, for your story about Jesus holding the little girl whose parents killed each other. Yes, Jesus is truly a loving God who keeps sending us warnings to turn back to Him. The so-called Y2K "non- event" is a smoke screen to lull many people into complacency before the real Y2K hits (oil shortages, power outages, etc.) Is Y2K chaos the door-opener to worldwide chaos, through which the Apocalyptic Antichrist will come through to "rescue" us. I think so. While many of us have been prudent enough to prepare physically for Y2K, I think it's more important to be spiritually prepared for what may turn out to be the foretold "End Times" brought about by computer chaos.

Here's another unbelieveable story.

A few months ago, there was a little girl whos parents ended up spending her entire college fund on Y2K preps while the little girl was there watching. After the little girl was rescued, her new foster parents were watching CNN and someone held up a picture of Gary North. The little girl who had lost her chance at going to college said, "That was the man who had his hand in my parents wallet the night my future died,"
