And, on what radio station didyou hear this? At what time? Did they say what the cause was?

There are power system problems every hour of every day of the year. If people are going to post everything they hear about power problems with no verification that it's in any way Y2K related, this board is going to become very dull.

FWIW, I'm in northern California and the power is fine, has been fine, and, assuming a drunk doesn't hit a pole down the street, I expect it will continue to be fine.

I am south of Chico and everything here is just fine. Although we lost power for little more than an hour on rollover night. Just sitting here watching Red Dawn on TNT and checkng out TB2000.
