ATF Reports Security Glitch

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Grassroots Information Coordination Center (GICC) : One Thread

"ATF reports that a security system in a field office is not functioning. This system had been recently installed as a compliant solution ... after an fourth and fifth audit revealed the previous system was not compliant. ... there are guards at the field office providing physical security." www.y2k.gov

PS The Canadian head office for Y2K reported that they were locked out of their own Y2K command center by a faulty security system. How embarrassing? Any wonder it didn't get reported to the media?

Security systems were one of the many systems expected to fail. There are a number of reports of governmental buildings with security issues. My guess is the corporate buildings will NOT report this.

It was not the 'Canadian head office for Y2k', it was National Defence Headquarters. And the issue WAS reported in the press - you must have missed it.
