IF YOU REPORT A Y2K GLITCH - QUOTE THE SOURCE

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Personal glitch reports that are self-reported are hard to provide sources for, provide as much detail of the event time, place, computer system, then it will be more crediable evidence but if you can quote the url's source then do so. Let the forum know that you have a media report or going to post a self-reported incident. It appears that many people are having legitimate y2k attacks happening to them which is why this board is getting over 100 new messages a day but some of these provide very little detail to get a clear picture of what is happening and so its a little hard to see what is going on as much of it is self-reported. This board has been going flat-out for 24 hours over the last few days non-stop.
