With a camera functioning electronically, under computer control, and the program(s) being download/upgradeable, I wonder if software houses such as Digita and Flashpoint are likely to be offering upgrades for increased functionality, such as:

1. SP, AP and/or Manual control. 2. Several second movie capture.

I can envision such software enhancements being offered, for a price, as a way to upgrade the camera without buying new hardware.
