There is something wrong when someone deletes everything without telling them why.

Deletes everything? What, specifically? It looks as though some things are still here. What do you mean by everything?

Maybe because this is a board about Y2K issues and not the dating game?

I just have to ask. Do you live at Jump off Joe?

Grant, they deleted Ladyluck's earlier post which thanked someone else for their frequent postings. I had responded to her. Then I wrote a post, asking why Ladyluck's post had been deleted. This post was deleted almost immediately.

That's what I meant by "everything". It's kind of an idiomatic English situation--not meant to be taken literally. But I'll be you knew that?

JJ aka AKL, when you posted your question, did you notice the text in red? It explains that some of the trolls are persona non grata on this board, and LadyLogic is one of them. If you post to a thread begun by a PNG troll, don't be surprised if the entire thread is deleted, including your post.

What the hell are you talking about? I didn't see anything that was deleted.

Well, thanks for the explanation, sysops on duty. I can't say as I did notice the red ink, but nobody ever accused me of being color observant. Now that I'm keyed to it, maybe I'll notice it next time.

I also had a post asking about ladylogic in the question. Would that also rate an autodelete?

By the way, (briefly) what did she do to become a PNG? Thanks, JOJ

ME: Yes, more or less. I live on Jumpoff Joe Creek. Believe it or not, there are quite a few place names like this. Two Jumpoff Joe Creeks in Oregon, Jumpoff Joe Lake in Washington, Jumpoff Joe Point in Oregon, and Jumpoff Joe Point, on the Oregon Coast. (My son found a Jumpoff Joe site on the net last month which actually had a series of pictures of Jumpoff Joe Rock, taken every twenty years or so, as I recall. The rock, which appears to be about two hundred feet long and forty or fifty feet high, with a natural arch through it, is smaller in each picture. By 1970 or so, it's all gone. The power of the sea!
