For those of you who have newly arrived to this forum, I think this thread from TB2000 says a lot about the Y2k journey many intelligent, well-read people have made over the past two years or so."Sysman" was a "veteran" poster at TB2000. Others might wish to post details about his career expertise in computers. I don't have exacting details at my fingertips, so I don't feel comfortable doing so at this time.
Regardless, here's a thread that says a lot about the caliber of certain individuals who came together, trying to figure out what the "Y2k" story was about.
'Sysman' was injured in a car accident
Now --at this time -- I have no reason to believe the report of his accident was a hoax. Even if it was, take a close look at the responses to this post.
EVEN IF --and that's a BIG "If" -- any of these people could be rightly labeled "Tin-foil Hat" lunatics, you may still wish they were your neighbors. Especially the next time your car battery dies.
Ah,...the things we learn along the way.
:)
