What are you a pessimist about? Political honesty? The chance of your S.O. actually picking up their clothes? No one is an optimist about everything...---Al

Getting well. Been sick so long I don't even remember what it feels like. Had so many doctors promise results that I don't even believe them anymore. Don't get me wrong, I -want- to be well. I'd give up a lot for the chance of a day without pain. But I don't , deep down, believe it'll happen.

Bek: I hope you get feeling better soon.

that man will lift himself up, grow up and get his act together. it is discouraging to see people, like nations, hating and warring with each other. when with a little thought they would realize that no one wins a war - - - there is a victor - - - but both sides have lost heavily, lives, materiel, money, food, etc. etc.

That I will ever live up to my potential. That I will ever have a high-paying job with decent benefits.....

Might sound self-defeating, but hey, just going with my first thoughts here. You caught me on a bad day...

I am pessimistic about the American Dream. What is THAT? And how can it possibly be achieved in today's economy? If you've got answers please e-mail me.
