Check the date on your computer. Try to change
it to 2000. Mac, PC , Win85/98/NT, Win 3.1? You
might need to give more information.

This worked for me: double click "My computer", double click "Control panel", double click "Regional settings", (it is shaped like a globe, Click on the "Date" tab at the top. Where it says "Short date sampl" it will show M/D/yy, or MM/DD/yy. This is a default setting for windows 95 and 98 or NT!!!!This is the date that supplies the dates for all applications software and will roll over the year 2000!! It will roll over 00, The Fix*** is simple Click the3 button across from short date style, and select option the shows MM/DD/YYYY (Make sure your selection shows the four Ys for the year. Then click "OK" at the bottom.
