in vol 5, no 3 issue of ties is mention of an alco rs-3 acquired by the roanoke valley central of johnson city, tennessee. i'd like to see this engine and would like to know it's present location, whether it's still with the roanoke valley or a new owner, and a contact that could tell me when i could visit. i appreciate any info sent my way. i'm a srha and cghs member, the central of georgia society also greatly appreciates this knowledge of central equipment.

Mark--this loco is now at the TVRM in Chattanooga. They plan to fully restore it over the next couple years and have it repainted in the original CofG blue and gray scheme!
