Frankln states that his virtue of order gave him the most trouble when he was trying to acquire it. After looking over all of the virtues I decided that order would also be the virtue that would give me the most trouble also. Which of the thirteen virtues would give you the most trouble in acquiring?

I think that the virtue that would give me the most trouble would be RESOLUTION. I think this because of the fact that I always plan on doing something, but it always gets pushed off until later or not ever done at all. Another one that would give me trouble at times would be TEMPERANCE.

Industry is a virtue in which I struggle with all the time. I enjoy TV and movies a lot, as well as other time consuming actives such as video games and talking with friends. Although talking with my friends also falls under silence it can waste large amounts of time. The virtue of industry would prove very difficult to me in this world that has a multi-billion dollar entertianment industry.

I would have to say the hardes virtue would be Industry, because I am always putting things off. I might be busy doing something but its not always something useful. I have been trying hard to use my time more wisely and hopeful someday I will be able to have conquered this virtue

There are two virtues that would give me problems: silence and tranquility. The first because I tend to open my mouth and out spills everything and anything I'm thinking about, good and bad. Tranquility is not a strong point either- every little thing irritates me. It doesn't matter if it's beyond my control. I'm working on it, though. I have to since I have a 3 yr old terror in my house!

The virtues that I give me the most trouble are one...Frugality because I can not save my money...Once I've got some it is gone in no time...Also I waste so much time on pity things when I should use it on more important things...I always put the most imprtant things off until I feel like doing them...It's no wonder I think there is not enough time in a day...because I am scrambling at the last minute to get stuff done... Another virtue that gives me problems is...Resolution...because I always say I am going to do all thes things...but I never get them done...I push them to the side also...and they never get done.

After looking over the list of Virtues I find myself strugling everyday with are these three virtues. #2. Silence #11. Tranquillity #13. Humility The reason I chose these three virtues is I am constantly getting into some fight over some dumb topic but because of my pride. I find myself arguing even after I find out that I am wrong. If I would have just stuck to #2 I would be just fine. The way I see it as soon as I break rule #2, #11 sets in and I remain upset the rest of the day. If I was more humble, and followed #13 I would never get into these fights and even if I did I would have the strenght to walk away. If I took into account these virtues, and practiced them I would never have a problem, easier said than done.

For those people who know me, they know it is resoultion. I am the kind of person that needs a deadline with a penalty for late assignments. Otherwise I might hand in an assignment a month late. I'm the kind of guy that finishes a history lab in the last three weeks of class. If it's for a class I enjoy like Calculus or Physics, I always get my stuff done and do it well.

I would feel humility would be hard to live up to. In today's society, we feel the need to competete and win. With doing so, we are not humble, but outgoing and proud of our accomplishments. I have problems with not showing intelligence, or rightness. It would be very difficult to keep my mouth shut.

Frugality, I am very wasteful. If something is not right or exactly the way I imagined it to be, I will start over completely. Resolution, why put off today what you can put off tomorrow. I'm sure we could all agree!
