Media Models

I am trying to create a new media model for Piezo 5000 . It is a sinthetic paper from Neschen which is very white , does not absorb the oil in the ink into the material and does thus not get that yellow cast which is common for prints made on Piezo 5000 on 90gr.paper or 120gr. The only problem is that the ink limit has to be set at 2.15 or so , and I do not know if I am doing it right with the adjustement of the Threshold value. Limitlight is set at 255 and bringing it down to 220 did have no efect,Limit Double was 220 and bringing it down to 170 started to lighten the darkest patches of each color in the linearization profile, but the ink limit is still around 2.2. What can I do?

Should I use Colorblend Media Model and start from there tweaking or better start from scratch?
