Date expression

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I don't know that this is a glitch, but would like someone who understands the sites to explain. http://lasco-www.nrl.navy.mil/java/lastC3.html GMT shows 100 01024 , Navy time 00Jan22 (this is probably last shot date).

I did rtfm at http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~mgk25/iso-time.html but came away still confused. Is the "100" the year value for GMT? If not, what does it represent.

By the way, these links and this one-http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/about_seti/about_seti_at_home_2.html- have all been the result of links provided here. Seti has appeared on all the family computers. So for those who chose to follow up on the information provided by the Forum, there's much to be gained.

Thanks for the help.
