I currently work for a video production company in Breckenridge Colorado where we produce ski films. I am 36 yrs old, originally from Scotland although have lived in Alaska for the last 12 yrs. I have shot video for the last 10 yrs, lots of mountaineering projects including shooting tape on MtEverest in 1995. For the duration of my time in Alaska I have been an avid competitor in Sled Dog Racing, includin Alaska`s 1000 mile Iditarod. In Febuary of 2000, I shall be traveling to Fairbanks Alaska to document on video a race known as the Yukon Quest. The Yukon Quest is a dog sled race that follows the old Gold Rush trails between Fairbanks and Whitehorse in the Yukon (see yukonquest.org ) I shall be shooting with a Sony DSR 300 & VX 1000., I am following all 1000 iles of this event by snowmobile.
