They blame OPEC and the cold weather. What's keeping CNN from reporting the truth? -- That it's really refinery explosions caused by Y2k that's to blame. TPTB must have the lid screwed on really tight. But it's only a matter of time before the pressure will build and they won't be able to contain it, maybe when we're all shivering in the dark. Won't be long now, as it's already started but TPTB are blaming the failures on snow storms. ;)

CNN are TPTB. TPTB are CNN. Disney owns ABC. Time-Warner owns CNN. GE owns NBC. Wall Street owns and runs "Free Press". The United States of America gave "Free Press" a shot during Viet Nam/Watergate. Wall Street realized that that was bad (Stalin knew that decades earlier). Reagan/Rather/Brokaw ostracized Soviet/Pravda/Izvestia while more sophisfactingly incorporating the an identical philosophy (with a much better facade).
