Some people sing in the car...I give speeches. I will just pick the first subject that pops into my mind and pretend to give a speech on it. I have a 40 minute drive home from work....the goal is to be able to make the speech last the whole way. The scary part is how many times I can manage to genuinely crack myself up in the course of one ride home.

I am a strange strange man...

Tormenting squirrels. We love having birds in our back yard, but squirrels keep burrowing into our walls and digging up my wife's bulbs, so we dislike them somewhat. We bought one of those squirrel-proof feeders, and it works great! They drop onto the top of it and try to reach down to where the seeds are, but there's a sloping, metal roof on it and they eventually slide down and fall flat on their faces in the snow under the feeder. Great fun for the whole family! Granted, a few seeds fall out when they do this, and they scurry around and pick them up, but I figure the entertainment value balances out the fact that they do get a teeny bit of the bird's food.

Also, when I see someone across the street or on the other side of the room waving at somebody behind me, I wave back. You should try this. You get a great, confused look on the person's face, like, "who the hell is that waving at me?"; then, they try to indicate that they're waving at someone else and I wave some more. Eventually they get the idea that I might be dangerous and stop waving, but I've had my fun by then.

Gardening - or being outside! I am talking about when the weather is good of course, but I love puttering around in the back yard and watching the goldfish in the pond, or petting on the dog, or filling up the bird feeders. I spend so much money on flowers every year. I am a flower nut!

Singing loudly in the shower, as long as i'm alone in the house. For some reason i don't really care if the neighbors hear me through the walls or the ceiling, but i can't let loose the same way when my boyfriend's home (maybe because he's a professional musician/singer).

Also, i enjoy people-watching. It's somehow very entertaining to make up lives for them as i watch them go by.

Ride my Harley down lonely country roads.

Taking pictures or friends and their kids and giving them them the prints. I'm a pretty decent photographer and take great candids, so they are quite appreciative.
