Help! Need info/links to the AOL 5.0 Browser Problem.
got clients at work who are downloading the upgraded 5.0 version of AOL and I need the documentation on the ISP issue/browser issue. Does anyone know what the excat problem is with using 5.0? What excatly does it do to the machine?

I've read that it messes with logging
on to other ISP's.

I have a client that uses AOL 5.0 and
logs on using a local provider. There
hasn't been a problem.

Go to keyword (up in right hand corner), and type in aol 5.0. There you will find a list along with the system requirements, etc.

Hope this helps.

PS - I had problems after installing 5.0, so I uninstalled it, but still have some problems regardless. We use AOL because we do a lot of international travel, so there are some benefits to using it. We left 4.0 on the laptop and have no problems, but on this PC...well...that's another story. =)

Try here:

I used 4.0 with no problemo, but now I just go to the Netmail site to get updates. If you are having problems, and have a regular ISP as well, go to to get your mail.
