I saw a BIG Blooper 2/10

greenspun.com : LUSENET : ER Discussions : One Thread

If you look very carefully, when the little boy on the episode of 2/10/00 goes in to see his dead father and turns towards the guerney with his mother on it, you can see Laura Innis, the actress/director crawling along the floor. You'll need your pause button but I swear she's there. I think I should get a t-shirt or something! Listening NBC? Listening Laura?

That is so cool, you are totally right, I can't believe you saw that, good eye. Your right you should get a tshirt or something.

Maybe it was intentional. I thought the episode reminded me of a Hitchcock film and in all of his movies, he'd make a brief cameo. Maybe this was another way Laura was paying homage to Hitch.

I've looked and looked but I don't see this anywhere. Can you give me more specific instructions where and when to look?

You have a very good eye. That's funny, though, that they should have a screw-up on probably the best episode of the season

Did anyone notice that Anthony Edwards screwed up his line right before Alex Kingston threw him into the snow drift. It was some line about Elizabeth having asked her mother to stay with her. The grammar wasn't right.

It couldn't be that BIG a blooper.... I looked and looked too and couldn't find her anywhere...

The boy has already looked at his father, Carol and Luka walk thru the trauma room and turn right, towards the room where the mom is (the camera is behind them), and they look at the boy looking at his mom. The cameran angle then changes, and it's in front of Carol and Luka as they walk into the mom's trauma room. Look to the lower left of your screen by the cabinets and you will see a red-hair subject in a dark coat crouched low, and then crawl quickly off-screen to the left. Hope this helps.

She is definitely there but it's amazing that anyone noticed! It is hard to see, but for all you unbelievers, keep looking. I ttook me several tries. If I remember correctly when you see Luka and Carol come back in, they show them from the front, then the two of them as they see the room, then the little boy, and Laura is right by the cabinets at the lower left. I kept pausing the tape and using slow motion till I found her and it was hard, but now that I know she's there is seems so obvious. Weird! Has she ever talked about having an artistic debt to Hitchcock?
